Flipper

Sandy Ricks (Elijah Wood), a moody 14-year-old Chicago boy struggling with his parents' recent divorce, is consigned against his will to spend the summer on a remote tropical island with his fisherman uncle (CROCODILE DUNDEE's Paul Hogan). Sandy brightens up when he meets a pretty islander and befriends an orphaned dolphin named Flipper. This heartwarming family film is a breezy update of the long-running 1960s television series.
