Between

Jessamy feels trapped in an abusive relationship, but it's not until she discovers Between Bar & Grill that she becomes truly stuck. This unassuming bar exists beyond time and place, and when Jess tries to leave it, she sees an apparition of death outside its door. There are other "regulars," caught in the eerie stasis Between life and death, and Jess joins their ranks. Why her destiny merged with this bar and its inhabitants is a mystery; who Jess becomes as a result of her entrapment is revelatory. But if she is ever able to leave Between, will Jess return to her life? Or is death the only real escape?
