Chessie-The-Pup

The very first Chesapeake Bay Retriever arrived in America way back in 1807. Ever since then, a secret treasure has waited at the bottom of the salty Bay, filled with souvenirs from the past. The treasure was left for someone very specific: Chessie-the-Pup, the great-great grandpup of that very first Retriever.



Chessie has heard stories about his great-great granddad his whole life. Knowing he has been left a centuries-old treasure, Chessie sets off to find it with nothing but his own bravery and brains. The journey is not simple, though, as the Bay is massive, strong, and deep. On top of that, no one seems willing to help!



Young Chessie meets an eagle and a blue crab, and neither of them has anything useful to say. Finally, a terrapin turtle comes along and reveals a secret only Chessie would understand.
