CHRISTIAN WAY OF LIFE Applying God's Word More Fully (June 2014)

Sadly, there are billions, who have not been set free by the truth. These ones are a slave to themselves (humanism) and "the ruler of this world" (John 14:30), the god of this world [who] has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." (2 Cor. 4:3-4) This is none other than "the great dragon [who] was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time." (Rev. 12:9-12) Yes, even though the Bible has been available for almost 2,000 years, being the bestselling book by far, translated into 2,287, it still has not set these ones free from being slaves of the world. Many simply do not understand it, which causes them to see no significance in paying attention to a book, that is millenniums old, which they feel was written by men, not inspired by God. It is the purpose of Christian Publishing House, that all people, who are rightly disposed toward life, be able to fully and accurately understand the Word of God, to find the truth. It is for this reason; they have begun to publish two series of publications, (1) Basic Teachings of the Bible: Questions Christians Ask - Biblical Answers, and (2) The Christian Evangelist: Go Therefore and Make Disciples In Your Own Community! It is a tremendous privilege, to equip the true Christian community with one publication, which shares the Basic teachings of the Bible, as well as another, which teaches them how to be an effective Christian evangelist. By using these tools, the Christian congregation can help those, who are rightly disposed toward life, in their community, to find the path that leads to the truth. Each of us, who have truly found the truth, is very thankful to the one, who bought out the time, to put us on the path to life. We think of the apostle Andrew, who "found his own brother Simon and said to him, "We have found the Messiah." (John 1:41) Certainly, we too, will want to give our master, Jesus Christ the best of ourselves, learning how to share the truth with all, who are willing to listen.
