Son of Man 2

The term "Son of Man" (SoM) appears frequently in the New Testament as the favorite self-designation of Christ. Our investigations show that: 1. "Son of Man" is a translation error, 2. it is a purposeful error, i.e. a fraud, 3. The implications of this fraud determined to a large extent our civilization. Medieval society was ruled by reifications, called religions, murderous gangs, fighting rivalry wars. Theology, the contradictio in adiecto "science of God" was a reificatory marketing device destined to impress the masses, to attract maximum adherents and to make the gang strong enough to conquer competing gangs and enslave or exterminate them. The fraudulent SoM determined the Christian gang and got popular enough to make it the strongest medieval european gang. In the Middle Ages the Christian gang was stronger than the Jewish, and persecuted it correspondingly. The Reformation split Christianism to several rival gangs, which fought murderous wars that made by orders of magnitude more victims than all Jewish persecutions. The Enlightenment posited the primacy of reason, thus abolishing all irrational religious superstitions and related discriminations. Current Europe is based upon the enlightened rationality. Denial of the Holocaust, religion based violence, or even hatred writings and manifestations are severely punished by law. Yet, like a child, molded for life by its first language, so the Christian society got molded by its religious inception, by the SoM still determining its collective subconsciousness. That's why the Great German Idealism (GGI) got popular in Germany to the point of starting the WWII and committing the Holocaust. The GGI revolted against reason, created a new new religion of reificatory God - "the German Nation", requesting it to be purely German and to eradicate all non German dregs, starting with the Jews, which resulted in the Holocaust .
