LaNette Donoghue lives in Ojai, California, with her husband, a double doodle dog, and a single chicken, the lone survivor of a coop-raiding bear. After exploring careers in flying, modeling, medicine, and law, she found her love to be transporting people into the magical world of fantasy. When she's not writing, she wields a mighty paintbrush, calling the finished canvases "art" to the amusement of her two children and five granddaughters.
