Fruits & Veggies I Have Known

This is my collection of poems inspired by a life of enjoying fruits and vegetables. I grew up as a lonely, repressed teenager in a small New Jersey town with little knowledge of fruits and vegetables. Lettuce and tomatoes were about all I had seen. One afternoon I chanced upon a fresh produce market and was overwhelmed by the variety on the shelves. I was awed by what I had been missing all those years. Since that day my life has been awash in the green leafy world of vegetables and the resplendent blessings of fruit. This book is a tribute to some them.
