Core Ambition, Peripheral Power: the Spanish Colonial Empire in Practice Abridged edition

This work is an abridged version of a MA thesis, completed in 2007. Though admittedly short on primary research, the author hopes that it will serve as an introduction and easy reference guide to much of the literature out there on spatial identity and questions of deviancy in the Inquisitional era. As I have since moved on in my own research, hopefully there is someone that will pick up this topic, as there are many questions left unanswered.
