Skylark is different and that is the trouble. Everyone has synthetic upgrades but her. It's so unfair. A pack of bullies at school are the least of her problems. Her mom is gone and no one is talking. Her father is absentand way too busy to spend time with her. She lives with her two great aunts who are.. well, crazy.
It's her sixteenth birthday and a robot comes in the mail. The mysterious droid kidnaps her and things really go sideways from there.
Could her life get any weirder? Yes, it could.
