Nicknamed the "Grandfather of all Zombies," he directed the original zombie classics "Night of" "the Living Dead", "Dawn of the Dead", "Day of the Dead", " Land of the Dead", " Diary of the Dead", and" Survival of the Dead". He is also the director of "The Crazies", "Martin", " Creepshow", " Monkey Shines", and "The Dark Half."Contributor Bio:  Talajic, Dalibor Gary Reed has over 30 graphic novels in print in addition to other books and comics. He is best known currently for his Deadworld series from IDW and also his Saint Germaine series that came out from Caliber and then Image. Outside of the writing world, Gary is an Adjunct Professor of Biology and teaches college classes in his Ann Arbor, Michigan area.
