Proud to Be Rosa

Rosa is a bilingual first grader who discovers the significance of being confident in herself, despite her differences. Throughout her journey, Rosa learns how to look at situations from her peer's perspectives; not just her own. Rosa finds out that she doesn't have to change who she is to fit in; she just needs to see things in a new light. Rosa tells this touching story using both Spanish and English. This makes it a great primer for English speaking children who want exposure to a little Spanish, as well as for those who speak Spanish and are learning English.
