Such... Is Life!

Whether the subject is of love across decades and generations, the melding of one season into another, fleeting pleasure and rare moments in an increasingly bland world or the spirit of carpe diem, the prose has a lightness of touch that reminds us not only of what we might have lost in the modern world, but also what we have gained. David Mason was born in 1952 in Dipton (County Durham, England), to loving and supportive parents. He has written, read and enjoyed poetry since his childhood. He has been married to Marie for thirty years and in that time has lived and worked in Africa, where his son Andrew was born.
