During the pre-school years children have a rapid "physical, "menial" arid social growth. They gather information and form them into patterns of knowledge that because integrated with their life. Colour plays an important role in a child's life. It helps in developing aesthetic appreciation, creativity, emotional maturity and visual perception of the children. At all ages, children like colours, what colour they like and how saturated they like them will depend mainly upon the child's age. The teacher should provide many opportunities where the children are given a chance to recognize the colours of naming thing in the environment such of these experiences should be interesting and those of discovery. Through there the child's vocabulary, memory, span of attention increases.
