Hell is no place for an Angel, but when Celestial finds herself damned and cast out of Heaven, she has to adapt to her new reality if she is to have any hope of salvation. Fallen and on the run from undead horrors, she attempts to find sanctuary until two demonic sisters discover her and brutally transform her into what she fears most, a servant of Hell. Subdued, she is brought before their master, the first Angel to fall in rebellion against God, Lucifer. Fully at his mercy, she must learn her place in the twisted and cruel underbelly of the cosmos as she and her new family come to understand what it means to be sinners. When a dangerous encounter on the mortal realm results in the loss of innocent lives, Celestial must confront her angelic past as the Kingdom of Heaven declares war on Hell and every soul trapped within, including her. With the threat of Armageddon hanging over her, she must find a way to stop the destruction of everything she loves at any cost, but for a Fallen Angel, how can she pay a greater price than what she already has?
