Fay is the seed of Sun transformed into human. In the unfolding of a new prophecy, she nears her coming of age, and this prophecy is accompanied by a quest. Evil seeps in through the wall of forbidding; a portal to a world beyond, and only the next Ona in line can save Imani. Through the Roi Vazgûl, the home of the spirit of ages, she journeys to the world beyond - somewhere in Lagos state. It is where she reconnects with the past, the present and the future, despite knowing the horrible fate that awaits her.
