Baseball had been life for Tommy Fisher since he was ten. Getting traded to the Vancouver Bighorns had been a blessing in disguise for a lot of reasons, the least of which was yoga with Lyndsay. Tommy has known Lyndsay Taylor for a few years. The moment he saw her he was drawn to her. The problem? Her fiancé. Tommy considered Lyndsay his friend so when he noticed that she changed he got worried. On whim, with a bad feeling, Tommy hurried to Lyndsay's house. What he found broke his heart and enraged him at the same time. Life had never been easy for Lyndsay. It had started out okay but then her family had been in an accident and her and her brother were left alone with an aunt who didn't want them. When her brother joined the military and she was left alone she persevered. Lyndsay made a life for herself and thought she had a great boyfriend . . . until he wasn't so great anymore. Looking for a way to escape but unable to find one Lyndsay is losing hope. Then Tommy showed up with a little white lie and saved her life.
