Futuro Beach

Karim Aïnouz directs and co-writes this gay-themed drama starring Wagner Moura and Clemens Schick. After failing to save a tourist from drowning at Futuro beach in Fortaleza, lifeguard Donato (Moura) moves from his home in Portugal to Berlin to pursue a new life with the victim's friend Konrad (Schick). Although the pair embrace an exciting life together in the German capital Donato remains homesick and longs to return to the beach, his ill mother and younger brother Ayrton (Jesuíta Barbosa and Savio Ygor Ramos).
