Nils Lofgren

Sacred Weapon Nils Lofgren

Music has always been Lofgren's sacred weapon and this great collection illustrated this perfectly. A classic duet with Willie Nelson on 'In Your Hands' also featuring the Lofgren Brothers. Martin Sexton sings brilliantly with Nils on 'The Country Understands'. A great homage to his departed mentor and producer David Briggs in 'Mr. Hardcore'. Nils' guitar playing, electric, acoustic, melodic and funk, all featured throughout in this great collection of songs. His old Grin partner Bob Berberich and Nils revive their double lead vocal sound in 'Can't Take the Rock'.
